I must say that i have seen too many pictures of pocket watches and therefore cannot give so many points for originality, but your picture still stands out because of the technique. In addition, a monochrome pocket watch is more original than the many vintage-photos.
Your technique is perfect! I love the focus, the depth of field, the lighting and the shadows. The fading flowers are a great background and the composition is great.
Maybe the line is slightly distracting, but still it fits to the composition.
