Hi there,
I stumbled upon these brushes (obviously) and I was hoping to use them for some promotional work for a local DJ and friend on some posters.
I'm not sure that I'll actually be using them yet, but we're working on a couple different "themes."
I read your comments, and I just wanted to run this by you before downloading them.
Thanks.

I'm going to sound totally noob asking, but what's a conceptual product design moodboard? @__@
As long as it's not for commercial use, (unless you're willing to pay $5 CAN) and you send me a link to your work, then it's fine.

This has to be my one of my favorite favorite brush packs. I can pretty much use it for everything. The only thing I have a problem with is the "Comment before downloading" clause in the terms of use. Shouldn't I try them out before I tell you what I think of them.

Eh, I wasn't expecting anyone to actually read that! =] I'm surprised you did. Well, I'm glad to like the brush pack, but I can understand trying to comment without having anything to say! Maybe I should change that...

Aite cool. I am using it for a friends School Campaign Poster. If I do use it later on for commercial use, I'll make sure I let you know. Once again, appreciate the brushes.

Well, I'm kind of busy with school and all. How about over the summer? Most of my brushes are done roughly the same way. I'll quickly explain it to you now:
1) large canvas, roughly 2000-2000 pixels. (Bigger if you're making a brush because you have to shrink the brush to at least 50% of it's original size before saving it, to preserve the quality)
2) take the basic solid brush. Set it to roughly 60-100 pixels, scatter mode, and adjust size dynamics, spacing, angle jitter etc. (Make sure each circle/oval is pretty far apart, and there are not too many on the canvas. The more brush strokes you make, the messier the final product. I find making only 2-3 brush strokes is more than enough)
3) motion blur aprox. 500 pixels. Repeat this step.
4) Free transform > warp.
That's about it. =] Pretty simple. I'll try to get a tutorial up around summer. Sorry... not very good at explaining things... =.='''

Thanks ! I wasn't expecting a reply. what a surprise!
I'll try this steps and I'll be waiting for the Summer and your tutorial to come!
Have a productive spring!
