It had been around week since they made landfall on the ground of Ilinsur, and everything was looking up so far. They had base of operations, the coastal town where the expedition had landed. The locals had shown some resistance but making examples out of the ones who showed it more openly settled them down, much more welcoming to their new masters. Few outposts had been established in smaller towns further inland.

Explorator-Adept Bergmann and few Adepts of the colony's council were on their daily round around the town, checking up on the construction projects and just wandering in general and making sure that there was no unrest.

Suddenly the air was filled with sound of rotor blades hitting the air and all the Adepts stopped looking up. In the air, they saw something that none of them had seen in very long time; a gyrocopter. All of them just stood there, stunned out of the sudden appearance of the machine.

Only when one of the skitarii officers ran over to Bergmann and shook him they started to recover.
"What will we do, Explorator!? Shoot it down or not?" The officer yelled over the vox-bead.

Only thing Bergmann was able to say was "No..." as the gyrocopter turned and flew off.
Only after watching the machine fly into distance Bergmann did speak again.
"I want two Krakens ready as soon as possible for travel!"
"Why, Explorator?" One of the Adepts inquired as all of them shared looks.

They started moving towards center of the town as Bergman started explaining "Because we are not sure if the ones operating the machine are friendly or not... One Kraken shall head east and other will head north, where the "Foundry" is located and find this "Barman" that the locals talk of... I shall take the Kraken heading for east and Adept Boffer shall be our envoy heading north.."

"Explorator, what is the meaning of my visit to the "Barman"?" Adept Boffer asked once he catched up on Bergmann

"You are to gather information of this continent and anything that can be of use to us; natives, locations, anything." Bergmann said with cool tone as he looked to Boffer and added "Do not fail us in eyes of the Omnissiah.. You will recieve crate of weapons, it may prove useful for defending yourself or for trading. You will also be accompanied by skitarii squad and Psy-Adept Stamer."
"One more thing... I make clear now... Do not fire unless fired upon.. We are in unknown land now and we have no allies here... We have to try fix that.."

Bergmann stopped as Kraken strode to before them and lowered itself to ground and opened the back hatch so Bergmann and just arrived skitarii squad could embark it. Once they were seated, the hatch closed and Kraken rose and started making it's way for the eastern exit of the town.

A great day had finally dawned. Today, the Technocracy would reclaim something long lost. Servitors had dug open the entrance into the old train station several days ago but now they had cleared out all the rubble that had collapsed in and installed proper supports to keep the roof from collapsing again.

Today would be day of starting progress. Magos Owelo walked around the station, admiring the old place of logistics and planned for future. All surviving technology had been transported into Hoffen for safe keeping and inspection.

There were three exit tunnels but all of them were blocked by more rubble. Owelo had ordered proper mining equipment to be brought from mines of Hive Wojek so they could start excavating the tunnels heading southeast and northeast like Omnissiah had instructed him in the vision.
