Aaaand it's finished!This is my first vector with background, I started using Illustrator about a month ago.
Took roughly over a month from start to finish with lots of off-time. I can't really estimate hours spent but it sure was fun.
I exported the uploaded image at 300ppi since any higher seemed to make Illustrator barf.
Program used: Adobe Illustrator CS5.1

over a month? on a easy background? hmm... wow then. anyway, that's pretty well done. and indeed, 300dpi is the most used resolution for vector images. eventually, you may customize your resolution by yourself.

Feel free to do it. A low-res pic on ponibooru gave me the inspiration to do a partial vector... which kind of evolved into a full blown vector with background :3
