A school project- Drawing on the topic 'Paradox'
Everyone was like "WAT How do you even BLUGHHHH'.

I wanted to question the act of funeral. Is funeral really for the dead? Isn't it more for the living to get over it and live on? Does it hold meaning to a dead person at all?
So I put the fancy deathmask on the living, meaning that paradoxically, funeral is for the living.
I made them mechanical and cold, trying to emphasize that what they're doing is formal and that they only care for themselves in truth. Shallow thought, maybe.

Given only 4~5 hours to plan, sketch, and color, it was rushed like hell. I literally smudged acrylic paint and rubbed pencil and pen all over the paper. Though I am kinda satisfied with the result.
Still, if I were to draw it again, I'd put more care into the coloring. Look at that highlight just pasted there. Just look at it.

Must get a better photo of it... I hate my phone camera.
