Description
A commission byThe story is pretty self explanatory. A business man walk through a museum to find a female version of himself in a mirror. Unable to believe what he is seeing, he tries to ask a teenager passerby if he sees it too. Meanwhile, on the other side of the mirror a business woman is having the same problem!

A lot of stories have been written about this but logically it doesn't hold water to imagine a world where everything is just as it is here except everyone is a different gender, as much as what we do, think and desires are determined by gender. Men and woman are fundamentally different right down to how our brain functions.

While this is an often used trope it is unfortunately logically incoherent, there is no way that a world where everyone is the other gender can still maintain the exact same position in society, as gender is not just a greet determinator and barrier, especially in more traditional societies, but also that gender in itself determines how we think and see the world. There is a significant physical difference between a man and a woman's brain, and CAT scans have proven that we use different brain centres to solve the same problems, and right down to the genetics there is a larger difference between a man and a woman from the same family then there are between two men from different continents.
Point being, you can't change that denominator without changing everything.

Not necessarily, this comic takes place in a "fictional" world, so while there are many similarities between our worlds, they're not exactly the same. Maybe women's brains work the same way in her world that men's brains do in our world. I don't know what it's like there because I don't live there, just like I don't call another cultures traditions illogical because they differ from mine. Bottom Line, "fiction" takes place in a different world, so our science doesn't apply until proven otherwise.Β Hope I didn't sound rude at all. If I did, I apologize.

The phone is in the same hand. Maybe it's a sign that there's a small tear in the barrier between their worlds and if the barrier shatters, everything will overlap causing both universes to implode and ceasing reality unless they find a way to stop it. Or maybe it was an interdimensional looking glass for two lovers one the child of the mirror maker and the other the daughter of the king who ordered the mirror. It only works when the cosmos want it to work and not everyone is genderswapped or same place same time, this was a just coincidence. Or God got bored.

Love the idea of tg paralell universes.
I actually think more stuff like this should be made instead of repeating captions and the thematic of them all over again.

Must be modern art what with the blue square and green square paintings in the background.Β

Or maybe the entire doorway is actually a painting... creating the illusion of a modern art gallery.

well its a small theory. basically a phenomenon where you catch your self looking seeing different you. like you did on these comic. it can have one or more oppsits in these world`s. one being seeing your self as a different sex, a different age, a different race, ect. its like a spyglass for seeing different worlds. some say it involves the illusive dark mater or just bizarre in natureΒ

Nice job, but is the mirror supposed to be reflecting improperly? I don't mean the transgender thing, but that his female self in the mirror is holding the phone on the wrong side of her head (since the guy's hand with the phone is on the side that's close to the mirror, the reflection in the mirror would also be the closest.) And two frames later when you see the phone reflected again, it'd be the left hand of the woman in the mirror holding it, by the perspective of us and the man it'd look like her right though.

It could be. To be honest, it is incredibly confusing trying to keep track of reflections and parallel worlds that at this point I'm not sure what's right or left. Β DX
