I've honestly hesitated for a long time to post this on DA, because I consider this one of my best pieces, so there's some vulnerability here. But no matter what, I know that I've done well, and that's what counts in the end. So here we go!Something different from my usual ARPG stuff!
This was my ten-week project for my composition, lighting and illustration class back in the fall. We basically had free reign to pick any subject as long as there was actually a character or creature and it wasn't simply a background. I had an awesome teacher who gave me great feedback every week and challenged me in a lot of ways. I feel like this piece represents more of me as an artist and what I am capable of. That being said, it definitely took a very long time, but I'm very satisfied with the results!
I used a mix of references and inspiration, so I hope that maybe this piece could inspire someone as well!
Please don't steal and all that. Cuz that's really low.
