Fiver grew up listening to the stories of the world tree and Yggdrasil from his grandfather Vandukron . This instilled in Fiver a restlessness and urge to explore. While Vandukron's stories were harmless this restlessness and impetuousness would be the source of much tension between Fiver and his father Stallo .
