It's fan art! Legend of the Guardians was the best movie ever, so I just had to go back and read the series again. They're still amazing! The burning wasn't my favorite of the series, but I like the idea of the red sky and thought it would make a good background.
Yeah, so the background doesn't exactly match up with the owl, but it was more of a speedpainting than anything.
Completed in CS5 with Wacom Intuos 4
