I'm flirting with doing some digital painting, and I'm well into coloring this, but I figured to show some progress.I told you guys I'd revisit Merida....and though I did use the target painting on the foot joke before, I find it a little applicable to do it again.

it's really cute! the only thing I would change is maybe change one of the tickling devices to the feathery end of an arrow going with the whole archery thing, but the feather and paintbrush look really good as is so I'm not complaining hehe

hehe no problem, and next time you have an archer of some sort getting tickled you can use that idea, maybe robin hood or something :3

If I may make a suggestion and please understand IΒ am not a art critic or artist myself and in know wayΒ mean anything by it andΒ IΒ know it's time consuming for you but how about keeping this classic already as is and then another one, just like it, Β coloring it inΒ the way you like. This way you have both concepts and keeps both B+W and Colored in fans both happy

Hey, you don't have to be an art critic or artist to know what you like, so I appreciate the feedback.
I do like your suggestion, and I had no idea that anyone would accept this as a final version. If anything, it would offer the opportunity to try another concept. Time is always a factor as you mentioned, but it doesn't make it a bad idea. I'll keep it in mind, but I've already put another couple hours into this, so we'll see what happens. Thanks a lot

You're welcome and thank you, I guess what I was trying to say is that since you already posted it basically in B+W you may want to just leave it and then take that same version and color it in and post them side by side like other members do when they create one in B+W and then decide to make a second identical one but this time color it in their way.

The target joke is quite apt considering the source material, so I wouldn't sweat it.

It's getting their, it just takes soo much longer to render the painted/CGI looking style, especially since it's a little unfamiliar for me.
