This is a drawing I did EONS ago... I used it to practice coloring. It is NOT an original character, I stole it from someone years back. If anyone recognizes him let me know

I know what you mean >_> I'm constantly changing the way I colour and shade, and I'm never happy with it because I always know I can do better.

Photoshop, I just got it about a month ago so I'm still experimenting with brushes. I usually go between the same 2 or 3 brushes which almost doesnt seem like enough. I am also trying to learn to use define shadow lines verses soft shadows.

Photoshop has lots of brushes, and lots you can customise 
I use PaintTool Sai now, cause I feel it's a tad easier. Another program that's quite good is FireAlpaca which is free --> firealpaca.com/en
