Love the fairy-tale feel that you've given to this manip! The details are wonderful too. The cowardly cat neglecting its duty and the wide-eyed farmer's wife forsaking modesty as she hoists her skirts and reveals her bloomers whilst balancing a-tiptoe upon the rickety stool reminded me of Mammy Two-Shoes, who faced a similar predicament in one of the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.

Really nice job; frame and texture add, subtly, to the great success. Mice and cat are super cute; she seems slightly cut-out but still works in a kind of a cartoon, and amazing job on dressing her and changing her arm. Well done shadowing.

It took me ages to find the right stock. It's hard when you have a specific idea in your mind to try to match it to stock. In the end i used several pieces to make the woman I wanted and took my own photo of a kitchen table to match. The cat was a treasure!!!

every time i come back to this one i laugh. it is soooo adorable. the only thing i guess i would have taken out is the texture. i think it would have more dimension if it didn't have it. sometimes it just flattens a picture.

your concept is nice and cute but I like it more because of the lady and because of the coloure/style choice of yours. The Texture on top of it gives it an older feeling.
