Calisto or “Cal” is the son Trixie and Duke Blueblood. We’ll delve into that relationship later.

Cal is a well versed mage in training. He studies at Celestia’s School for gifted ponies. He’s close friends with Princess Aurora.

Cal is usually a shut-in. He’s not the most sociable pony, but his confidence is higher when he’s around ponies he’s close with.

Cal and Aurora have a good dynamic. They both help each other explore outside of their comfort zones. That doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy a good weekend shut-in/study session/movie marathon every now and again.

Calisto’s father wants him to be a diplomat and study politics. Cal has no interest in such matters. He wants to study magic. This, causing a slight rift in the family. Tricia just wants everypony to get along.

Cal draws power from the moon and is a bit of a night owl because of this. Princess Luna suggests he studies with her a few nights a week to hone this ability.
