Two years already? I still remember what I was doing on September 11th, 2001. I got up early to help my mom with organizing boxes and marking them for the hallway closet while the carpeting in their room was being replaced. Fate or just some coincidence that I happened to be up then?Speaking of coincidence and twos, it's a year of twos as far as I'm concerned. 002 is from New York City, there were two towers, two planes, two ones in an " Eleven"- Jet was the perfect subject for this retrospective piece.
Though considering he was frozen in the mid 1960's and awoken 40 years later, he never saw the World Trade Center going up, and I don't know if he ever saw it come down in 2001. But the Cyborg 009 universe is very flexible and a lot of things can happen that wouldn't normally make sense in our world. And even if he never knew the buildings like the generations after him, it would still hit home that his home, his people- they were attacked in cold blood.
So I dedicate this picture to the over 3,000 victims of that attack two years ago. May God continue to watch over their souls now and forever.

My family and school tributes to this terrible event every September. 11 now. The victims will always be in my prayers. This is a wonderful tribute for your part. *thumbs up*
