Thank you! I actually fell in on this particular day....slipped on a rock, got soaked, but luckily I didn't have my
camera in hand at the time.

I like to have a pair of kitchen garbage bags and some cordage in my daypack on wet hikes so I can strap em on and wade across. However, I have never used them. I can rock hop fairly well with a pair of poles for balance. However, when we camped at site 30 at the end of Little River Trail last year, we had to cross the river three times. I did not have the bags with me and I had to take off my boots and roll up my trousers. There was no hopping the rocks in that deep fast water. Dang, that water was COLD!!!!!!

Use a tripod, and use a slower shutter speed. Usually 1 to 2 seconds. But, that depends on the light and filter you use.
