Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is my favorite anime and so I wanted to make a wallpaper on it. Watanagashi (lit. Cotton Drifting) is a festival in the anime where one puts their sins into a ball of cotton and lets the river drift it away. It is also the night where the Curse of Oyashiro have struck every year for the past 4 years, it's a significant event throughout the anime.
