"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." The redhead muttered under his breath, tapping the piece of ancient parchment with his wand. Like magic, and as always, the ink spread out from the wand's tip, curving and swirling intricately as it painted the castle and its residents.

Then again, Sasori really didn't see why he couldn't just ditch the covertness and secrecy of it all. He shouldn't have had to resort to using the Map to track down his own teammates. For gods' sake, he was a shinobi! Akatsuki, for that matter! He didn't see why they had to pick this useless, idiotic mission in the first place...it was annoying. He didn't know how much longer he could stand it without using his jutsu (though he had managed a rather amusing prank involving some invisible chakra strings) or plunging a kunai into some of the pompous fools at this school. Or his own teammates.

Sasori scanned the parchment with his usual scarlet, bored glare. It would be confusing and time-consuming to any normal person to look through all those dots and miniscule lines and names, but he wasn't any ordinary person. He was a proud (missing) ninja from the Sand, and a genius one at that. This was child's play.

Itachi was in the Slytherin common room, as he should be, talking to a non-Akatsuki student. Good for him. At least someone is following orders... the puppet master thought vehemently. No sign of either Deidara or Hidan, of course. Those two hadn't done anything except pull pranks and irk him. Sasori absently tapped his lit wand against his other wrist, while still scanning the Map.

But then his shinobi's sense went off.

Without visibly moving, Sasori stiffened slightly, slowly, and covertly started leaking chakra out of his fingertips. The chakra strings fell limply to the ground and began to search the nearby area invisibly. The redhead continued to pretend to look at the parchment, looking for himself. It didn't take long, but when he found the dots behind him, it explained a lot. (Like how his chakra didn't latch onto anyone.)

Stupid Map...useless, stupid, idiotic mission... He thought darkly, refusing to turn around to face his attackers. He could still take them both with his eyes closed and both hands tied behind his back. (The puppet master also still had his pride as well.)

"Hello Sasori-danna, un." A smooth voice said from behind him, venom and glee dripping from it.

"Now put the damn map away and let's settle this like real men." Another voice added, harsher but much more evilly gleeful.

"...Mischief managed." Sasori replied sullently, tapping the Map one last time with his Lumos-lit wand. He then turned to face his missing teammates.
