Teehee. The "first fandom" thing is sort of the same for me (I attempted to write Neopets things when I was little, but Pokemon definitely wins). I don't write Pokemon things anymore, since I've "grown out" of fanfiction...I just write original fiction now. It makes me feel weird. :< But I really wanna go back to writing Pokemon stuff, you know?
Like, a story that's just...fun? Since the stuff I'm writing now that's original is kinda bloody and dramatic. A lighthearted Pokemon adventure fic might be just the thing for a SECOND SEMESTER SENIOR.

Except not, since this is the internet. It would be like: *signs with BLOOOOOD* which is a whole lot less...intense. -_-
Anyway.
Latent Drama Syndrome is where a story that is normally not in the drama genre falls to drama after a little while because the writer can't continue it/the plot in the original genre they were writing it in. Usually they end up going from little drama to DRAMARIFFIC, with emoness this way and that. An example would be Megatokyo - started out as a funny four-panel strip and now is a sort of soap opera.
And yeah, I need to find time, too. But if there is a PACT, then I'm sure I will. 
"Nyaa-Neko and Digital-Skitty will both embark on Pokemon fanfic-writing exploits in the land of Sinnoh starting by February 1. By their gradation day, each fic will have at least 15k words to its name, have at least three pokemon on the main team, and there must be a dancing shroomish somewhere in the text."

Heheh. It shall be fun, then. An adventure! I pulled out my Pokemon Pearl yesterday as "research", and managed to actually win that pesky third badge. I am now debating whether or not to waste my Drain Punch TM on my moferno, as he is without fighting attacks and that bothers me. D:
But the only problem is that I resurrected Summer Heat, and there's another thing I want to write before I graduate, too. ...Oh well! Writing three things over the course of five months shouldn't be TOO hard, right?
