Yeah, and while I can't go into details on why, I have tried to contact this guy and tell him that I need the gagged version of the pic again and for him to update the link. Unfortunately he hasn't replied in at least a year. I do believe he might be dead.

And her only after the real story was over and they were just adding filler. I've been thinking about running Star Wars Saga in the period about 8 years after the battle of Endor. The New Republic has been born and struggling to get it's feet firmly anchored - with Luke leading the New Jedi Order and struggling to find recruits, the Imperial Remnant is stabilizing itself after adding the Colonies - with their sphere of control restricted almost entirely to outer-rim "third world" worlds they're working hard to improve their worlds to stimulate their economy, the Hutts have openly declared ownership of a few worlds near their homeworld including Ryloth and Tatooine and others - and have barely subtle control over several others where the governments are deeply in debt to the Hutt Criminal Cartels (my idea), and a large number of former Republic/Imperial worlds are refusing to take sides in the "Cold War" conflict between the Republic and Empire. I was thinking of completely ignoring everything about the New Sith Empire that quickly takes over - that whole evil empire keeps the good guys on the run can be completely played within the Dark Times perfectly well without Krayt. Darth Krayt might be far cooler-looking than Palpatine, but honestly he's not MORE evil.

Tell me about it. I'm not excited about any current or future Star Wars projects in any medium right now. I'm not into the Clone Wars since they switched to 3D animation, Bioware was doing great with KOTOR until they decided to make the third game a cartoony MMO, and I try to pretend the Force Unleashed and its sequel don't even exist.

I don't mind the 3D animation of Clone Wars - the modeling is very good, and the voice-overs of the actors are great. AND it allows for a lot more of the Jedi super-heroics than a live-action would have done.

The Old Republic MMO isn't a real sequel to the KOTOR games since it takes place hundreds of years later. And considering they rushed KOTOR2 out half-finished I doubt a third in the trilogy would have been any good - I enjoyed the heck out of KOTOR2, but the whole series of discontinuities at the end were grating.

I'm just very curious about what they'll do with the MMO and NOT make it utterly crappy. I never played the other Star Wars Galaxies and what-not MMOs - I had too many friends who talked about putting weights on keys so their characters would continue running skills that took hundreds of hours to perfect. I did a very small amount of that with Neverwinter Nights servers - I hated it. It wasn't the least bit fun. Not everyone who wants to be an adventurer in Star Wars wants to invest hundreds of game-hours pushing one button over and over again so they can master a mundane skill so they can make creds.

The closest I got to Force Unleashed was reading the novelization of the game, which was cool, but... I don't like the hero having to die in the end. I never liked stories like that. I don't much care for games that are designed as console games either since I don't own a console and have no interest in one. And that's despite my falling in love with Fran the Viera from FF10(?) - the concept of how the game plays seems neat to me, but I have no interest in buying somebody's old console so I can play it.

I've heard plenty about Star Wars Galaxies, and haven't heard anything that would convince me to spend a dime on it - and I'm fairly into Star Wars (both gaming systems d6 and d20), the movies, and even the toys. Then again it sounds like it has the same faults of other MMO's - so I'm going to be hard to impress.

Other than technical features, I'm not impressed with anything that's come out from Phantom Menace on - even the stories and ideas in the old D6 books were better. Mara Jade is OK (hey, I like tall redheads) but she strikes me as a Mary Sue. For me, the story really ends after RoJ.

I liked the initial premise for what happens AFTER Endor, but the whole Darth Krayt Empire thing just makes me queasy. I would love to do stories involving battles between Jedi and Imperial Knights though.

I'm into red-heads as well. But I can't really see her since there will never be a live-action movie including her.
