Commissioned byThe idea being the ladies of Jabba's harem preparing the princess for her big appearance, which would drastically open the minds/imaginations of young male Star Wars fans all over, in all the wrong ways- including mine.
If you want to see the gagged version that I painted for the client, hop over to his gallery- it is posted there. I'm very proud of how Leia's face came out, and couldn't bring myself to put up the gagged version here, given the facial distortions it would cause. So to all of you who leave those wonderful comments, complaining about the gag-lessness of my works, go there instead.

Great job on a scale of 1 to 10 I say definately 11, Now you just need to do one with Oola the Green Twi'lek dancer that Jabba kills, because what she is wearing is the most revealing costume out of all of them because its Fishnetting

"Return of the Jedi" was one of my favorite movies during my adolescence for the same reasons it was for you, I'm sure.
Despite being one of the few who liked the prequel trilogy, I was sadly disappointed George Lucas never talked Natalie Portman into one of those slave bikinis and onto a different Hutt. But that's what fan art is for.

Yep- ROTJ was my fave movie, mostly due to me being a kid and not realizing that Empire Strikes Back is probably a slightly better film- I just have such fond memories of ROTJ, including (but not limited to) the Leia scenes.

This is one of the few slave leia themes that really looks like Carrie Fisher. The whole Slave Leia setup is so sexy that I usually don't mind that it looks like a random brunette and not Leia. But you actually captured slave LEIA!

It always bothered me- that's probably why I'm so obsessed with likenesses. To me, if it doesn't look at least a little like the actress who played a role, it doesn't do much for me. Glad you like it!

I read the book years ago, the image just made me think of the stories about Mara Jade posing as a dancer and Oola (the dancer twi'lek who got nommed by the Rancor). 
On 217 it says "... two dancing girls stripped off Leia's clothes and gave her a skimpy gold outfit to wear."

I like both versions. Gags are good, but having the Princess free to engage in brave (but slightly frightened) "girl talk" with her fellow Jabba slaves is also good.
