My MYO for the Revelloid closed species event that ended a couple days ago. (They're doing a Fall-themed prompt event rn that's looking pretty cool! I'll link the DA group if anyone wants to check it out)

I struggled a lot with coming up with a name for this bab, but a friend suggested Raine and I ended up really liking it for them. I got a slot for another MYO recently, so I'm going to be designing Raine's mentor/guardian next.

Pronouns: they/them or ve/vir/vis

Raine is a shy but science-minded Rev in Disaster Response and Rescue. Ve takes their job very seriously and has moved around the galaxy since vir youth, being inspired by the events of their early years to be diligent in their work.

Bio:

Raine at the beginning of their life was one of a few survivors of an emergency aid/search and rescue shuttle crash. The shuttle had been en-route with several specialized Revelloids and toobies (many, like ve was, still within their development tubes, intended to be used as backup or assistants to the more experienced rescuers) to a solar system experiencing severe electromagnetic and radioactive fallout, all caused by a nearby star that had gone supernova. The successive waves of energy from the supernova had unexpectedly destabilized a volatile planet in the shuttle's path and caused it to detonate, debris crushing through the middle of the ship and forcing it to crash-land on an irradiated sister planet. Ve was one of only a few who even survived the initial crash, which by some miracle happened just minutes after Raine had been deemed ready for extraction and was being looked over by the shuttle's medics. Those who did survive, both veteran rescuers and other toobies, did not last long in the planet's hostile environment. Raine themself was only able to survive due to vir radioactive core and assistance from those surviving older Revs, who instructed them through suiting up even as their own systems began to fail. Raine was quickly left with an environment void of life, a few scattered supplies from the ship including specialized protection suits and oxygen tanks, and no one left to guide them either there or through the shuttle's interference-laden communicator.

With their protective gear, Raine survived on the radioactive planet they'd crashed on for some time, knowing from programming how to ration the supplies available. Because of the energy waves from the super nova, and a lack of other specialized Revs or shuttles in the area, rescue operations were delayed several months. Had there been no accident, Raine would have had enough supplies to last themself until rescue arrived. However, after several falls resulting in severe damage to vir internal radioactive waste runoff systems, Raine suffers a critical malfunction.
