This was a quick render to play with Victoria 8.1 and I do like the new facial rigging. I think her smile looks good but even though they did make some eye changes, I can't see any apparent improvement in eye render quality.

It's a shame that I can't use G8 expressions that I already own though. But IMO 8.1 makes facial posing easier.

I feel like the freckles on her left face became metallic rather than dark spots like freckles on the other side of her face. I'm not sure what's causing that, I need to take a closer look at the surfaces tab.

There was something about vellus hair on the promo page, but I can't seem to find it from within DS.

Anyway, all around I do like the new features so far and have to look more closely at other things, but I really liked her smile so I figured I'd render it I'm curious to see what others think of Genesis 8.1
