The lotus flower has a complex simbology.What I wanted to represent here is the lotus as a symbol of spirit renewal: it grows up from the mud and opens beautiful and smelly flowers in the fresh air, so it's a symbol of spirit's purity and beauty, which everyone can reach even when it seems that everything is just "mud" and dirt, just having the strenght to raise up to the fresh air. And actually the "mud" is what feeds and pushes the growth.
According to Buddhism, this is the basis to reach deity.
I know, the theme is always the same
This took me a lot of time and effort, and still I am not satisfied, but it's time to stop, maybe I will come back on it later on...

bellissimo lavoro...senza dubbio creativo con questi esseri per metà piante! Grande lavoro nel delicato compito di fluidificare i soggetti che alla fine risultano convincenti.
Miglior dettaglio del lavoro sicuramente, per me, son i piedi piantati tipo radici!
Il mio unico appunto personale è l'eccesso di luce su collo, petto e braccia della ragazza in primo piano che a mio invece sarebbe dovuta essere drammatica con la stessa intensità, corretta, delle altre ragazze-piante.......ma questi son dettagli per gente malata come me hahaha Diciamo che in questi anni fare queste osservazioni mi ha aiutato a progredire parecchio. Il lavoro comunque rimane su un medio-alto livello e questo è l'importante

eh eh... grazie, le critiche son sempre ben accette... hai ragione, forse avrei dovuto farla meno luminosa... a dire il vero credo ci sia qualcosa di sbagliato in generale nella luce... ma ora non ho + voglia di riprenderla in mano (sai, quando ci passi tutto quel tempo e alla fine non ne puoi piu'... questa poi e' stata un massacro!!!)

La fonte luminosa l'hai creata proveniente da dietro e quindi la luce globale chiaramente doveva essere lavorata al fine di avere tutti i soggetti/oggetti, frontalmente, più calati nell'ombra.
Ma che importa!? Io dico sempre che quando l'idea è solida ed interessante e la visione è armonica....certi errori passano in 3 piano! In questo caso specifico, per quanto detto prima, anche se la luce globale è errata comunque tutto fila liscio anche perchè le varie tonalità son ben distribuite e tutto viene percepito dall'occhio di guarda come rilassante!
Diciamo che critico più per me stesso, a voce alta haha..se in questi anni son cresciuto è anche soprattutto alle critiche. Beh prima di facebook c'erano i forum con poche persone e quindi la gente aveva il tempo di scrivere critiche. io personalmente ho avuto la fortuna immensa di avere degli scambi intensi di critiche alle volte anche molto accesi, ma costruttivi con persone di vari livelli soprattutto con professionisti, dai quali ho imparato linguaggi tecnici, modi di pensare e altre infinità di cose. Con i Social molto più dispersivi non c'è più tempo! la gente passa più tempo ad accumulare "watchers" o "followers" in maniera incontrollata..solo perchè fa figo avere 20000000000 followers...Beh lo si nota qui stesso su DA....c'è gente che infatti manco ti risponde e te credo come sarebbe possibile rispondere a 100000 watchers? haha Per quello moltissimi ti incollano un "beautiful work" o "amazing work"....anzi se noti copiano ed incollano la stessa risposta a 100 o 200 persone! Anzi ti dirò molto di più molti guardano il lavoro un secondo, ti incollano il commentino e via! E' un sistema che odio e difatti preferisco avere attenzione per pochi, ma di qualità.
mavà e mica il lavoro si riapre! Le critiche si prendono e si accumulano per i prossimi lavori. anche io è rarissimo che riapra un lavoro e soprattutto quelli con infiniti livelli.
