Ported to OBJ from the fancustom model created by Darkdrone for the video game Starfleet Command III (SFC3) and later ported by fellow Trek fans for both use with other SFC series games and other video games. Certain additional backstory elements are my own and are not part of the original fan write-up. Preview picture posed in XNALara XPS. NO MODEL DOWNLOAD.

This was a postwar smaller spin-off of the larger Va'kor type battlestation (see separate entry) developed during the Dominion War but never started due to the war ending sooner than expected. When Va'kor was reclassified as a starbase for postwar construction then this was derived from its design to fill the now-empty new battlestation type slot. The first batch of these built to replace Cardassian battlestations lost during the war, with that effort not being completed until the end of the TNG/DS9/VOY era. A second batch was awaiting final approval to begin construction in order to replace older Cardassian battlestations worn out from long use and the war, but approval had yet to be given as late as the early 25th century. That's the last data point I can find on this.

Its inclusion at Mandel's is for those fans who need something like this for the Cardassians in their various fan efforts and projects for the Trek multiverse.
