And thus returns Tommy Nielsen and the rest of the Gang of Four, from their less-than-triumphant outing in the earlier episode "The Ride of the Righteous Rollers."  As I noted back then they're a tribute to the original Gang of Four from the original classic Dirty Pair anime TV series, who themselves in turn were a tribute to the Blues Brothers of both Saturday Night Live and feature film fame.  FWIW I had always intended for them to be recurring minor villains in Sleuths, although as in the case of Dirty Pair their appearances wound up being limited -- in the case of Sleuths to just two episodes.  Nevertheless you can expect them to have just as much fun in this outing as they did the last time -- if not more. (chuckle)

those crazy gun-toting nuns - A reference to the Gang of Four's earlier encounter with the Sleuths.  See "The Ride of the Righteous Rollers."

What really knocks them out are the cheap sunglasses - Quoted from the classic hit ZZ Top song "Cheap Sunglasses."  Also from the DeGuello album, the same that featured "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" that I used in the Sleuths episode "The Ride of the Righteous Rollers." Here's YouTube link:
