Clancy's boys - One of the Agency's other teams, and all male from the sound of it. We only see them once and at a distance, near the end of this episode, and those are canned generic Stranglehold male models I used because they happened to be handy and fit what I needed at the time. I also toyed with the idea of bring them back in the unproduced second season and even letting Clancy get in a few lines, but those ideas were abandoned when the second season got cancelled due to abysmally low readership at the time.
You can replace a building - A reference to Elza accidentally blowing up the TriPark Building as depicted in Sleuths Episode 1, "The Case of the Naughty Nerd."
Well, if it isn't Nancy Drew - A direct reference to the famed fictional female sleuth. Here's a Wikipedia link in case you don't know who she is:

The comparison of Claire with Nancy Drew was deliberate on my part as author -- the sleuthing bit (wink). In my youth I was a member of the Young Readers Book Club courtesy of my parents, and in support of my voracious reading appetite back then. As all of you who shared the same experience can attest, every month I got either a double-story volume of Hardy Boys adventures (brown covers) or Nancy Drew mysteries (lavender covers). That's how I as a guy became a Nancy Drew fan (chuckle). Both sets of books are long gone but their influence on me remains. FYI Claire and the iteration of Nancy that I grew up with also share red hair color. Nancy's hair color has been just about everything over the decades since she was originally created, although it started out as classic blonde. It got changed to red some years before my young self was made aware of Nancy due to a change of book cover illustrators (and not a printer's error as long held by her fans), that being her first major hair color change, and the change resonated so well with her fans that it stayed various shades of red - usually titian red - for decades after that. Nancy's hair color has changed many times in the decades since the end of her original mystery book series, although various shades of red are still common and still a Nancy Drew fan fave. Claire's original natural hair color was dark red, so dark that it frequently looked black at a respectable distance, and with its darkness lightening somewhat by natural means as she got older. That's is the way it's depicted in the original RE2, and that's the way I usually depict it in Sleuths. Claire's hair color was later changed to black in RE2 REmake; you can go look up the details of that elsewhere. Oh, and in case you don't know what titian red hair looks like, it's classic red with a decidedly copper tint to it. Scottish actress Karen Gilliam (Doctor Who, the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, et al) is a good example of someone whose natural hair color is close to titian red.
