COMMENTS
Dr. Elizabeth "Elza" Walker and Leon Kennedy (RE2 et al) are old friends, as established at the end of the Exodus novel. They first met each other not long after the end of the T-virus Outbreak in Raccoon City, given that both of them were survivors of that event, although we still don't know the exact time, place, or details. Both were in regular contact with each other over the years given the fact that both were in the same line of work in U.S. federal government service. I also note Leon was present when the late President Benford personally recruited Dr. Walker away from a directorship at the BSAA to join the DSO, as per the Exodus web comic "Christmas Surprise (2016)." You also might recall Leon being present at Dr. Walker's informal memorial service for the late John Kendo, again per the end of the Exodus novel ....
Clive's been a big help ... Director O'Brien - Clive O'Brien, the former director of the BSAA per the first RE Revelations game. O'Brien and Dr. Walker also became good friends during her years of service the BSAA, and they also worked together on many things during that time between her coming on board and his later retirement. That's why we hope they'll let you keep this job - A little lighthearted jab by me at Capcom at the time, given how they've treated the character of Elza Walker over the years. Mind you, this was years before she was finally "canonized" (barely!) as part of the RE franchise thanks to the use of both her name and an updated version of her trademark racing firesuit in RE REmake. That's all Capcom has done officially with Elza so far AFAIK as I write this (May 2023), but one can still hope. (*sigh*)
