Description

This didn't take long, since I had already done Rand earlier this evening.

Again, still need to add rank stripes, as Sue is a full lieutenant per STNV Season One's "Intersection Point."  I'm also probably going to add a female utility belt just like you saw with my new Rand model, since Sue is also part of that same landing part Jan is on in the opening episode of STNV Season 2.  That way I'll also have it for landing parties including Sue in future episodes, and I can remove it (turn off its texture) whenever it's not needed.

--------------------

BTW the landing party belt for TOS Starfleet women is "canon" per TOS "The City on the Edge of Forever."  You see Uhura wearing one in that episode.  It's not really necessary if you know your classic Trek tech and the old SFTM ("magnatomic adhesion areas," a-hem, see also TAS "The Lorelei Signal"), but it was needed on the TOS filming sets for a specific reason:  to hide the black Velcro strips that were being used to fasten on everyone's gear (big grin).  They could hide them on the male pants because they're black, but there's no place to hide them on the ladies' dresses because there is no black save at the collar.  Hence the utility belt.  This may be why they also did something like this for the later AdamsTrek movies, in which the revised Starfleet female uniform not only finally has long sleeves as it always should have, but also has two conveniently placed black strips at the top of each hip. (grin and wink).  The Starfleet men also had a couple of different utilitys belt - a brown one early on in TOS that you can see it used in episodes such as "The Corbomite Maneuver," and a black one worn mainly by security men in the second season, but these was soon discarded and never used again.

The fannish explanation for the belt issue is that TOS Starfleet personnel only wear belts when they need to, such as for carrying lots of extra gear or gear that's heavy.  You hear Kirk mention "belt lights" on screen in the TAS episode "The Infinite Vulcan," for example, although they're never shown on screen.  Starfleet landing party belts are sometimes used in other Trek series and movies too.  Six of one, half-a-dozen of another.  XD
