From April of 2015 comes this early teaser piccy for my original XNAWheels feature for my now-defunct XNAVault site.  At the time I was struck by how few automobile vehicles there were for the XPS community, as well as the dreadful lack of variety.  I'm glad to say this has been addressed since and by multiple XPS artists; however, some of the vechicles I ported both back then and the second time I did this, when I brought back the XNAWheels feature a couple of years ago here at DigitalExplorations, remain unique.  They also have not appeared again since I quit releasing 3D models and pulled everything down I had (awwwwwww!!!).  I must also say had just as much fun with this both times I did it as I did with any of my other various XPS forays.  Those days are gone now; however, the memories and archival images such as this one remain.

May I also humbly suggest that is something fairly easy to get into for those of you who might be wanting to make your own mark in porting models for the XPS community?  There are literally scads of 3D vehicle models available from all kinds of sources on the Internet, you don't have to do a lot of video game ripping on your own because so many free ones are out there, you'll always be able to find something nobody else has ported due to the quantity and variety available, and the XPS community will gladly take them either as simple unrigged OBJ ports or fully rigged XPS models.  After all, it's a lot easier to rig a car or truck, or ever a motorcycle (!) than it is to rig the human body.  Believe me, I know! (laugh)  At least it's not as hard as it was back in the day, with all of these various auto-rig and copy-rig tools and utilities available so you don't have to rig by hand, as some of us had to (grin-and-wink).  Anyway, like I said it's something you should definitely consider if to want to get a good start porting 3D models for XPS use yourself.  It doesn't have to be hod rods either (big hint - lots of those have already been ported).  Believe me when I say that there are XPS users who will gladly appreciate you porting even the most mundane of vehicles, even if its an old beater or worn-out lorry or even a wreck awaiting salvage.  You never know what kind of vehicle somebody might need for a given XPS posing project.
