On Saturday *RomyDon and I attended a Lebanese protest in Miami denouncing the US supported Israeli bombings of Lebanon. Approximately 150 protesters rallied at the Torch of Friendship holding signs and wearing shirts that read βSave Lebanonβ. It is not the well known "Batool Al-Toma" but she could be another woman by the same name...

actually I had a friend back in lebanon , she is from south lebanon which got married to the US maybe 5 years ago, she 99% looks like this girl in your picture and her name is Batool , so i think either this was a lucky day for me to see her again in your photo, or she just look like her, any I love the pic no matter who was she.

I enjoyed your gallery very much and with so many powerful images it was hard to find a favourite. I particularly liked the juxtaposition of the fairy pictures which were a respite in all the passion. I chose this picture as a favourite as it is an image of hope and that's what's important at the end of the day. Thanks for the experience.
