Krizalid from The King of Fighters.The second clone of Kyo is now part of the REDUX collection!
Another crazy, powerful SNK boss, Krizalid had a ton of style when he made his KOF 99 appearance. Although I have to admit he looked much cooler with his coat ON, but when he actually took it off and fought he kind of lost some of that style IMO (Yes I know his outfit actually served a specific purpose). Luckily he has a pretty interesting (and overpowered) move set to make up for the loss of the coat
.When I was doing this REDUX, I really wanted to try and find an stylistic middle ground for Krizalid. I thought, is it possible to bring some of the cool elements from his coat into his actual battle attire? What you see is the result of that idea. I wanted to make sure he still looked like a badass boss character, so he needed to stand out amongst the other characters. I took what I liked from the two outfits, and added my own unique design elements to make him truly a REDUX!

This guy was a total asshole in KOF99. I can only keep him via time out and even then just barely.
Prince called. He wanted his fur coat back. Three different hair styles doesn't look right. I will admit that his bodysuit does look stylish and awesome.

About time someone worked with Krizalid, he didn't really get enough time in the SNK spotlight or enough credit to his character in general.
Much like Goenitz, this is a beautiful update to the character, and definitely maintained his badass persona. I love what you did with his hair, originally it was a smidge too much like K's, and you fixed it for the better. The fusion of his fighting attire and his coat was an excellent touch! He really did more of that boss feel that you felt while he was rocking his coat. This design is pretty hard to give criticism for because in general it's just a solid update. I love all the intricate silver designs all over the outfit, it gives it an even more independent feel, not just a simple clone! Even the boots are great touch, I'm glad you slightly changed the style on them so that it flowed with the rest of the piece like water. Krizalid didn't get enough attention and you delivered.
Overall Rating: A+
Analysis: There really isn't all that much to say about this one. It's solid; It's boss-like; It's beautiful; It's badass; It's Krizalid Reborn!

I must prefer a new style for Krizalid opposed to the bondage get up he had on in the game. The entire NESTS organization was a bondage-fetish group it seems.
