Description
Inspired by tonight when I went out to enjoy the summer evening. I really love gazing at the stars, but it's so bright there that the stars just fade into the sky. I sat there for about 30 minutes by myself, and I actually cried to myself because I was sad and disappointed; it made me hate the town I live in even more.Concept art: I might make a better version... someday.

that's the saddest thing i've ever heard
I love the stars, though, so it blows my mind whenever I go out anywhere where you can actually see them.
They're saying that aircraft exhaust trails could make ground-based astronomy impossible within the next 10-40 years... isn't that awful? I don't want to have to tell stories to my grandkids about how you used to be able to see stars from the ground...

Heh... that's totally sad.
It's bad enough that the light from Vegas fades out the stars, now the exhaust will add to it -_-;;
And if you take a gander at 9 p.m., the sky is still fairly blue, not black. It's like it's never dar enough for the stars to shine.
Yarrr... Last night also reminded me of conference in L.A. As many lights and tall buildings that area had, you could still see the stars clearly. Here, you can be miles away from the strip and still not see the stars.
Wahh... I need to move to a starry-skyed city.
