just wondering, how do you do the border? to get that effect i have to make a new black image, paste a white rectangle on, and then paste my photo on; it's very time consuming and i was looking for a faster way =\

absolutely love this photo, by the way.

That's a really good take on it, great idea... Wonderful shot, the vast sky above it makes it seems so much smaller then it really is.

Months afterward Jim Burden arrived at my apartment one stormy winter
afternoon, with a bulging legal portfolio sheltered under his fur overcoat.
He brought it into the sitting-room with him and tapped it with some pride
as he stood warming his hands.

how do you shoot one of the most iconic buildings in the world? anyway you da** well want, conventions out the window.

I know I've seen this photo of yours on someone else's page. Kinda random how i wanered onto it again, but this time through your own page. I personally am intrigued with what you did with the opera house. It's a new presentation, and almost like a tease...y'know? Like "name that song" with 5 notes. The colors are rich and definite, and just like them, Im a def. fan. *nods* cool take on it

You are a creative genius. I studied architecture, and I've seen that building looking beautiful in various photographs, but you've made the photograph look beautiful, with your wonderfully fresh perspective.

An excelent and original take of an iconic building. The best thing about the shot is that it really IS original: and that's no mean feat for a building that's been photograhped from almost every concievable angle a dozen times before. And look interesting too: very meditative with the blue sky.

looks good to me. my friend (enologics had the same problem when photographing the space needle, both of u did a good job. the blue in the sky looks so deep, its almost unreal. border helps as well.

I enjoy the different approach, however I'd like to be able to see more detail in the buildings. Perhaps a bit of burning will help.

I agree also with whoever said that there needs to be more interest in the sky to draw our attention.

A unique way of photographing a very well known and very photographed building. The framing of this shot is top notch and I think the off-centered ness adds interest to it.

Although the sky's tones are on the money, I thing the building neeeds to be burnt in a slight bit to bring back some of that detail (asuming it's there to begin with..).

Well done
