But why? They both use the same models, and basically look the same. There are some effects that I can only manage through SFM, such as dynamic shadows, in which GarrysMod will not allow me to do due to my graphics card.
Plus over in the SourceFilmmaker group, I'll probably just end up getting chewed out by pony haters left and right.

I'm not arguing, I'm just curious as to why this rule is suddenly put in place.

Thanks for the heads up. Still curious as to the sudden rule change, though. Guess it's not my place to question it.
