In other news, Link's fingers are frickin' annoying to pose.Anyways, more testing with Link. I might make an animation with him if I get around to fixing his rig.
Also, terrible lighting because fuck my graphics card.

Because Source Filmmaker doesn't allow you to change colors of models, like Garrysmod does.

can u just import the texture and then just painted black, the reimport into it.

I could, but then I would only have one black Master Sword.
It would have worked for a screenshot like this, but for one where both Master Swords are present, it wouldn't have worked.

I find fingers in general annoying to pose. They're tricky but not impossible.

Mmm, depends on whose fingers. TF2 characters have fingers that I find pretty easy to pose, being that they're so cartoon based.
Someone like Link though, whose fingers aren't even properly rigged? Yeah, close to impossible to get them looking right.
Either way, finger posing is always kind of that "grey area" that it either looks good, or it just doesn't.
