I think it works. There's an interesting symmetry around that line, but you've framed it so it isn't static. The trees and their reflections are perfectly symmetrical around the line, but the sun and its reflection aren't. And the lights from the sun on the left balance the dark of the trees and foliage on the right. Anyway, what are you going to do? Earthmovers are expensive.
