Cycles I believe. Its been a while since I made this piece so I'm not 100% certain

With Cycles you can use a gpu to be correct Nvidia gpu's cause of CUDA Cores it does speed up rendering times as the gpu is rendering but it differs between gpus it differs quite massively in terms of rendering time all i know is that from personal experience my Gtx 760 or 650 ti does ok at thisΒ

Thats the problem, dont have an nvidia GPU.

If i did more blender stuff i would get a more expenive gpuΒ
also i do know there is a amd thing like cuda i think but idk if blender likes it
