I had planned on reuploading a better image of Gamera without the fire effect and extra frames thrown in on the right a week ago or so....well here it isRelated content

LOL, thanks! I hadn't thought about that but now that you mention it ...I can see it. Thanks for the feedback!

*Gorgeous* Gamera render. Flatten the back plates, and it would make for a sick redesign of the 1996 Gamera. But as is, it still looks great.

Thanks! I've got another more "realistic" version of gamera brewing on the backplate too, just enjoy doing the big guy.

Welcome, and yeah, it does. I mean turtles IRL are scaly, so why can't Gamera?

Ooh! I like this render a lot more!
Good work on the shine, especially on the belly plates! It definitely makes the details pop.

Thanks for checking it out It stills the basic pose I modeled him in, I got a teeny bit lazy and just rendered him like that since it seemed to have some natural expression anyway.

Looks beautiful. Are the tiny scale details a displacement map or sculpted?

Sculpted, just masked out the forms on the subtool, inversed and did a deformation inflate. Wanted to try to keep them from being too similar to one another and also vary the size from the outer forearm to inner. Thanks again
