I really had an exact background in my head, and this certainly isn't it but it's as close as it's going to get right now. I had SO much trouble with the dirt...I'm glad you noticed, and my efforts are not wasted. :3

You managed to capture him how I never could I really appreciate it, like, beyond anything. You even remembered how he's kinda get thicker limbs, and the colors of his silks are spot on.

I'm really glad you like it. xD I wasn't thinking on the 'kick your face in' idea, but it suits that as well. It was more of a playful 'I don't fear death' sort of expression. Or that's what I was thinking when I drew it.
I draw all my hawsies thick, but i'm glad you like it. ^-^ Like I told you, sampling is very helpful.
