well the people that made the game make him look like an idiot...and I dont like piers, they already had a C-virus cure...and piers stayed for his own will to die...so whoยดs the idot?, besides every man in this game are such EPIC fools, come on!! not NOTICED THE CHANGE of color and style of Adas and Carlas outfit?, Ada helping them all the time....but i agree that capcom wants to put chris in such hig position, but he never will, girls made Resident Evil, Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, Claire Redfield, Rebecca Chambers (I wish shes back in a new game), even Sherry Birking, those girls suffer and figth a lot more alone than the mans in the series, I even dare to say that Hunnigan is under more stress than leon XD

Actually, the C-virus vaccine, isn't a cure. It says so in the game files. If you are already infected and have never had the vaccine, taking it afterward actually causes death. So Piers knew what he was doing. Secondly, the injection he took, was of the modified C-virus AFTER carla took Jake and Sherry to scan his blood so she could make one that his antibodies wouldn't fight. Basically Piers was screwed. Anyway, not bashing just thought I'd inform you

It should've been him. Don't get me wrong I'm not a huge fan of Piers but it just seemed like it would be a stronger more fitting ending. His arch enemy died in RE5, but he still wasn't free. Death is Chris' closure.
