thats my part of the art trade with the amazing Kaymaro
It was much fun and a very good practise! I like this chara, i like this blue and that he glows.
And a 'Thank you' to my dear Owlfeather25 ... she had the background idea!
And also a very big 'Thank you' to Grypwolf , for her amazing shading tutorial! and of course her beautiful art which she shares with us! Thanks!
All in all i'm content with this.... the pose, the shading, the lighteffects....all is okay.... for my...eh 5th time of this shading?!

Ah, okay. ^ ^ I was thinking he is an OC, but I wanted to try and play it safe by asking about it instead of assuming.
It does look good with the blue color scheme, that is true. :3 I think the impact would be the same even if it was all of another color because the execution of the piece has such an impact on the viewer.
Heck, it could probably be rainbow and still look amazing. xD

I honestly couldn't resist critiquing this piece, it's too lovely to ignore. ; u ;
ONTO THE CRITIQUING:
First, I will start off with the wolf. In all honestly, the anatomy is pretty well done, if I may say so, although there are a few things that I would like to point out to help you out in the future. ; o ;
The muzzle of the wolf looks like it is facing to the side more, the nose looks fine, but twist the mouth of the wolf towards to viewer so it looks more like it is ready to take the viewer's heads off! The right ear of the wolf should be placed up a bit higher, too, try using crosshairs to help you line up the points of the ear to both ends of the eye. Also, I can't see his right cheek! Try drawing some lines to show that cheek! Okay, the last thing I want to point out is the fluff on the character's left side, try cutting it down a bit until the chin of the wolf. All in all, there are only little bits of mistakes, but the anatomy on this is drop dead beautiful.
Also, for the lightning, just watch out for those random hairs on the lightning, try looking at more pictures if it helps you. Also a suggestion, maybe make the fur where the lightning is closest to it brighter?
ONTO THE PRAISE:
This piece really caught my eye, to be honest, the anatomy, as said before, is lovely and much better than I could ever do. The expression on the character fits perfectly to the mood and clearly shows me his intentions. The lightning is really well done too, it looks like it is flowing towards me and around the wolf. The pose and perspective make this all the more dynamic, too! The shading is quite lovely as well, it's awesome. : ) <3

I love the shading, even if it is a little messy. and the lightning oh my its so cool
I like the fur, it's all flowy and appealing to the eye~

The lighting is very dynamic, i love it!
and then.. the bad uh oh
as mentioned before, the shading is a little messy, but for your fifth time doing cell shading it's amaze (wait does this belong in the bad stuff)
The background is pretty simple, it's hard to tell where he is... is it a cave or something? or a stormy sky? you should probably add the light reflections of the lightning, kind of like the lighting on the wolf but on the background (if that makes sense i often don't make sense ik)
anyway this was a rLY AMAZE ART THING WITH A FEW FLAWs and im so sorry if i make no sense whatsoever

Diese pose... einfach nur der Wahnsinn! es gibt echt nix auszusetzen. Der Körperbau. Einfach perfekt. Besser geht es nicht!

OH mahnn und die ganzen Effekte! Das ganze leuchten ist so mega mega schön und dazu dieses Licht einfach nur der Wahnsinn. das Bild ist so krass.
Die shaidings dazu sind sehr schon und auch .. nun.. fliesend. @.@
