Yep..another terragen render, and yes another one with rays in it, I just really like the outcome of terragen scenes with rays in them. This time I rendered it in widescreen format...I think it suits this piece better. I did minor tweaking and postwork texturizing. Hmm..ever since I got some new computer parts the rendering goes very fast
, what usually would take me 3 hours now takes me 45 minutes. Anyways...enjoy.comments & favs appreciated.

I was browsing by top favorites.
At first I thought wow what a cool photo.
Then I discovered it was not real so thought, its a shame that place does not exist for real.
Then I thought cool work with computer graphics.
Now I think that its just pretty awsome.
I expect that I will think in the future that I would like to find such a place in the future.

Wow...yeah, gotta love those ray effects.
One thing though--try smoothing the transition between land and water. Especially in the middle, it looks like the land is floating. (Terragen is totally awful about blurring.)

Amazing. When I saw the thumb I was thinking "where was that photo taken?". The use of light rays and other lighting effects really seperate this from 95% of terragen renders.

Beautiful! I love the cracks & lines (AKA detail) on the landscape. and the colour. And the atmosphere. And the render quality. And the shapes. And the texture (oh, thats the same as detail)

The atmosphere and clouds look beautiful too, great job on those - Though I can see some banding, but it may well be my monitor.
