A starving ghost of an especially greedy person, the Gaki has an insatiable appetite for a particular substance as punishment for their vices. Traditionally, the substance could be bad enough to make even the sickest of people cringe, but in more recent legends, they'll eat anything they can get their hands on... though in some legends, if they try to eat their food, it'll burst into flames.

For the Gaki's Yokairoid incarnation, she weilds a large dinner fork as a weapon and also carries one HELL of an appetite. We're talking, like, hungry enough to make Yuyuko Saigyouji from the "Touhou Project" series look like she's on a diet.
