Part III of my long exposure squarecrop self portrait series. Only the autumn version is to be done now!
The big challenge in this shot was to sit still for 30 seconds (not even proper breathing was allowed) after running back and forth between the rocks and the camera. The huge amount of mosquitos around didn't make the job easier either...
I've made several attempts, this is the only one that turned out me being sharp. Had I succeeded earlier, the iso could've been as low as 100. I gave it a run through Noise Ninja though (for color noise only) just in case.
Here's the full series:

This is amazing. How do you go about getting a shot of the water like this? Time of day and stuff?

Black black black...lol ok j/k.
Hmm did you ever tried/edited it with less saturation or without that orange gradient and only a cold toning?

Hmmm, didn't think of that. I was aiming for a dual color harmony for this one, to rhime with Projection II. And since the only colored grad.filters I have so far are blue and tobacco (except for the sunset1), there was not much choice.

Well ok, all your choice of course.
I am just not a great fan of those gradients, that's all.

it really is hard to just to sit COMPLETELY still for half a min.
i totally respect all those people who have such a still aura, is that what i should call it?
great shot! (the colours are lovely)

The trick is to stop breathing.
