Photoshop crashed, ate the PSD; it was non-recoverable. This is what I managed to rescue only because I had copied those elements to a separate file.

This reminds me of how I found out that Notepad deletes the original document first when you hit save. Freaking computer malfunctions.
That being said, I rather like the first and second panels here - it leaves it open to interpretation.
