this is too coincidental im freaked out... for fun i created a character to rp with and used what i later found out was a red heart morph in military gear, and created a wartime medic and then after developing the character i find this

A friend told me a story about being a medic. "I was always told not to be attached to other troops. The reason was they all lost there sanity when there friends got shot". my friend started to cry because it was friendly fire.

I just have one slightly unrelated question. In a society where Pegasi exist are fighter aircraft necessary or do they just have pegasi with machine guns fly around shooting at things, thus making that branch of the air force exclusive to pegasi.

Having lived a very similar experience in Iraq, I just can't stop coming back to this picture...

Actually, this would be their equivalent of World War 1. World War 2 never really devolved into trench warfare which is one of the reasons why the casualties were so much higher.

Rather ironic that WWI's trench warfare was horrific and resulted in lots of stalemates, so we left that behind for much more open combat which turned out to be even worse in many ways. Atleast in Trench warfare if you're on the defense you have an advantage of being hunkered down, in open combat its much more even; which for you is not good. The main advantage to open combat turned out to just be that stalemates were far less common and those on the offensive had a much better chance.
Of course regardless any massive war WILL be horrific. Millions taking sides and fighting will devolve into a dirty, bloody deathmatch no matter what.
