"What is it?"
-If I wear this, is there a chance ponies may fear me? They look scary...
"I know. But they have not been made for making you look beautiful. They are not pretty, but they were made to protect your lungs so you won't breath a toxic fume and die from asphyxiation. Anymore question?"
-Y-yes. But I'm... I'm afraid to ask.
"That's okay. You can ask. Better ask now before I can't later. Come on."
-O-okay. Umm. I-if I wear this mask... does it mean I won't join my mommy and daddy in the afterlife?
"*shocked* W-what do you mean..."
-Well, if I wear a gas mask, I won't be able to join my mommy and daddy, right? I will live without them and alone in this horrible place and...
The nurse took in an embrace.
"D-don't you ever tell that!"
-W-what?
"That you want to die so you can join your family!
-What's wrong with that?
"Your family would want you to live I'm sure. They would have sacrificed everything they had so you would survive and live a ordinary life with ponies you love!"
-S-somepony like you?
I lump got in the nurse' throat. She could only squeeze the little filly closer to her heart, tears running down her cheeks.
-Uh, miss Redheart? Are you okay?
She tried to swallow, swiped her eyes with a hoof a tried to speak without being shaky.
"Y-yes, s-sweetheart. S-somepony l-like me."
-M-miss Redheart?
"Y-yes?"
-I hate this war. I miss my family."
"I *sniff* I miss mine too, sweety. *deep breath* Now, we better-"
-Can it wait?
"Why's that?"
-I want to stay in this embrace a little longer.
She could only smile and squeeze this little pony she considered now as her own.

There is such a story type called "dialogue only," invented by my friend. I feel like this can fit into that.

Fimfiction clearly said that dialogue or script written type are not allowed. So I put them here only. That way, they seem less long and keep the humor without making the story too heavy. But I have an accompt. Also, I don't have much time to write fanfics.

I mean, if you want to write it like you did, I do suggest you have it dialogue only. It's more special than "too lazy to type out scenes" type stories.
