"Storyline" was probably a poor word choice on my part.
If it helps, the two happen within the same universe during the same war, but are mostly unrelated otherwise.
These are crucial characters however, within my own context at least.Β

No one likes a traitor during war, even those on the side they are defecting to. Someone who is disloyal to their cause and only to themselves can never be trusted, and since the bonds made in war are of the brotherhood of having each others' backs, a traitor can never belong. Great artwork!

Entirely agreed; though, I believe there are exceptions to be foundΒ when people are forced into conflict under a truly backwards/corrupt regime.
She's been labeled 'traitor' for now with the intent for her to be redeemable, but that's for another drawing
