Lol, I saw this in the submissions thingy and decided to make some artwork out of it. I just love the way that Sonic fancharacters have made such a storm on DA, it's awesome! Especially seeing as it was a phenomenon I didn't really know of until coming to DA. Maybe that's just because my Sonic renaissance coincided with my discovery of Sonic Advneture 2's aweosmeness - a game I got about a onth before joinging DA. Anyhoo...

Combining the idea of being "Sonic's friend or family member" and something I read in part of AXM's "Hot or Not?" column about celebrities getting photograophed with their gay relatives in support of the gay rights movement, and of course for some good publicity, teehee. The column said that you should look in your family tree to see if you've got any famous relatives, and the phenomenon was rated as "hot"

AAAAAnyoo, I trail off too much. I thought Sega could pledge their support to the movement and raise Sonic's popularity by showing him with "Funz0r", his gay cousin. Yeah, I think I nicked the name from Futurama but I'm not sure. Anyway, where Sonic has his speed, Tails can fly, Knuckles is strong, I decided Funz0r's special power is that he's a good listener You don't know how rare those are!

Funnily enough, part of me is proud that Griff is a fancharacter. Last of the Good is one of my greatest creations so far, and even though it's base on the Sonic universe is very very loose, I think both the looseness and the relation work to its advantage. So hey, I think I win! I tried to draw Griff as a human, but I realised each character's developed as an entire package, and changing the appearance unnaturally would charicaturise certain personality traits and dull others. However, the human Griff doodle did become "Rampage", someone you'll see in "Monster", teehee

I've been rambling a lot. Anyway, enjoy Funz0r. I'm sure he'll make a pretty nice addition to Sonic's probably quite extensive fancharacter family
