Ok; this is actually an illustration I made for a fan fiction "The Visit" [link] by my good friend and fellow deviant Firewalker71 [link]The image is from chapter five [link] where Tex`s little helper Scuzz is trapped under some giant rocks. Okay, hope you don't mind this feedback, but I gotta say: this is AMAZING! I can see so much shock and sadness there, and I REALLY wish I'd gotten to read the original draft. I would've LOVED to read that part. Honestly, I didn't even KNOW about Bravestarr until I saw 's fanfics and pictures, and reading about Tex himself (plus, I already gravitate towards villains naturally), I found myself interested in him, and I love the softer side of villains as well.

Aw, you're welcome. Thank YOU for putting this up. Thanks to this, and The Visit, I can safely say I am not only now into Bravestarr, but al Tex Hex. Seriously, though, this is an AMAZING piece. I REALLY wish I'd gotten to read the original draft.

I wish she would have kept the old draft up. It would have been nice to see how this part played out. I never got the chance to read the origional.

I hope you don't mind me commenting on your old stuff, but out of your Tex Hex pictures, I like this one the most. I think it's because out of all of them, this is Tex Hex at his most vulnerable and, in a way, his most human moment. Tex is normally this big bad outlaw who's trying to show how evil he is to the rest of New Texas, but here, his rough villain facade is gone and he's just worried about his little buddy and whether he's gonna make it. Poor Tex.

Old stuff, new stuff: I LOVE getting feedback anyways! Yeah, me and Firewalker71, has this love for bad guys and the urge to "soften them up" a bit through our fanfics. Lol.

Well to be fair, Tex Hex had elements of that in the show so it's not like you guys aren't softening them up too much that it's unbelievable. His treatment of Ursula for one, and the fact that he kept Scuzz by for years, made him his co-pilot, and even taught the little guy English. Tex's just in denial over how nice he can be.
